Help a Struggling Reader!

 

 

 

   Reading ASSIST® Institute is seeking volunteers to tutor children at risk for reading failure during the school day. Volunteers receive a free thirty-six hour training in the RAPS Intervention, (Reading ASSIST for Primary Students) a research-based, multisensory, structured language, phonics program.  After training, volunteers are placed in a partner elementary school to tutor struggling readers.

 

 

Fall training sessions are scheduled for both theMilford and Wilmington Reading ASSIST Offices.

 

In Wilmington:

Thursdays, September 18 through December 18, 9:45 am – 12:45 pm

Mondays and Wednesdays, October 15 through December 15, 6:00 – 8:30 pm

 

 

In Milford

Tuesdays, September 16 through December 16, 9:45 am – 12:45 pm
